Independence Alternative Energy Corp. is an integrated energy solutions provider with over a century of cumulative energy experience. We assist a wide range of clients to plan, source, develop, engineer and finance power plants using a variety of clean energy production systems.
IAE’s strength lies in its broad knowledge and experience in the development of a wide range of power plants that can be adapted to the particular political, geographical, meteorological, economic and social needs of specific communities, regions and nations.
As waste-to-energy experts, IAE provides solutions that convert solid waste, green waste, sewage, sludge, plastics, rubber and organics into clean electric power and/or bio-fuels. Our strong partnerships with solar, wind and geothermal providers enable us to draw from a wide array of solutions, instead of relying on a single proprietary “one size fits all” offer.
IAE fills a niche in the growing demand for expanded urban infrastructure in developing nations. IAE provides the upfront know-how and financing needed to provide sustainable energy generation, sustainable landfill practices and water purification in these regions.
IAE solutions help businesses, utilities and other energy sector agencies meet their emissions goals and mandates and stabalize costs while creating the additional power required to fuel continued economic growth. Our customers, in public and private sectors, will see increased return on their investment and profitability, by efficiently reducing CO2 emissions, and waste, and converting this waste to an increased energy output.
IAE solutions are not dependent upon any one technology or plant system. This flexibility ensures that we can develop the appropriate energy solution to meet the unique requirements of each project. Our ability to provide a variety of viable solutions for a project, allows us to reach a significantly wider market than can be reached through the provision of a single proprietary solution.
Project Financing
Our projects are financed through long-term receivables contracts like power purchase agreements (PPAs), landfill waste contracts (tipping fees), recycling, water generation contracts and associated carbon incentives.
Waste-to-Energy projects can be supported by multiple sources of cash flow. They can generate cash flow from waste removal and disposal, then from waste that is converted on site or near site into electricity then sold to customers; and finally through the sale of Carbon Offset Credits.
