Ravi Bhola, CEO & Director
Mr. Bhola specializes in growing companies via strategic alliances, Merger and Acquisition and teaming relationships. He offers deep expertise in General Management and Business Development services covering customer acquisition, strategic business partnership creation, as well as market discovery, definition and development.
Mr. Bhola was a principal consultant on the Hewlett Packard–Compaq merger. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Orincon and Vice President of New Ventures at E.W. Blanch Holdings. In both, Ravi was responsible for new venture development in Information Technology. He developed applications of defense technology for Catastrophic Risk Management for the Insurance and Reinsurance Industry. At General Dynamics, he held senior management positions in business development and marketing. He developed and implemented strategies and alliances that grew the Image Processing and Mapping technology business from $1.7 million in 1985 to $280 million by 1994.
He also formed a strategic alliance to build and launch a privately owned reconnaissance satellite. Mr. Bhola was a member of the management team that conducted the leveraged buyout of the General Dynamics Electronics Division ($300 million/year sales) and in its subsequent sale to Marconi and BAE Systems. He holds MSEE and MBA degrees from Washington University.
Paul Bhola, President & Director
Mr. Bhola provides considerable industry specific knowledge and has a diverse background in finance, marketing, design and project management. Since 2000, he has arranged and closed over $150 Million in project finance for commercial, residential and bio-fuels contracts. Using his extensive network of consultants, clients and suppliers he leads the team into qualified scenarios with real opportunity for success. He is experienced in both traditional and online marketing with an emphasis on large contract development both nationally and internationally. He has negotiated waste and energies contracts in South America, Hawaii and California.
Mr. Bhola attended Humboldt State University with an emphasis on international politics. He has completed over 15 years of growth and development training in the areas of team management and leadership effectiveness, communication development and public speaking. In addition, he has completed the United States Green Building Council curriculum for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
Charles Daley, Vice President of Finance & Director
Mr. Daley has a diverse background in Marketing and Finance. He has helped raise capital and provided corporate communications and corporate secretarial services for a multitude of successful small-cap companies listed on exchanges in Canada, the US and Europe. Mr. Daley brings to the team the expertise required to cultivate a recognized green brand that emphasizes transparency and stakeholder engagement.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California as well as the Award of Achievment in Sustainability Management from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Daley has also studied Accounting with the Certified General Accountants of Canada, Securities with the Canadian Securities Institute and public companies with TSX Venture Exchange and Simon Fraser University.
Peter Chambers, Director
Mr. Chambers has twenty-five years of senior level experience in the formulation, development and execution of policies, programs and objectives of private sector distribution and manufacturing companies. He presently serves as Chairman of the Board and President of Marketing Assessment Inc. an international marketing and distribution company with offices in Fairfax, Virginia and Sidney, Australia. He is also the Managing Director with responsibility for general operations of Hi-Tek International, which introduced the first telematics technology to the general consumer, having developed the On-Guard personal/automotive security system.
Scott Schumacher, P.Eng., PMP, LEED AP, Director
Mr. Schumacher is an experienced Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), (Mechanical & Materials Engineering), from McMaster University in 2003. Mr. Schumacher has over ten years of progressive and diverse experience in project management, working with both public and private sector clients. He is a problem solver with a strong technical aptitude and close attention to detail. He applies his technical and analytical skills attained from his engineering degree by providing design and constructability input for solving detailed construction challenges. Mr. Schumacher provides traditional project management services in the functional areas of scheduling, scope management, communication planning, cost, risk management, quality management and sustainability. He has had considerable onsite experience providing full-time resident construction project management services for the duration of several construction projects. He has often been the single point of contact responsible for the management of all stakeholder issues and concerns on often contentious or challenging renovation projects, where ongoing operations are the norm.
Mr. Schumacher has successfully completed many projects of varying size and complexity, and has always ensured that the clients' interests were upheld at the highest level. Some of his recent projects include a Wastewater Treatment and Biosolids Facility in Sechelt, BC (LEED Gold); a 96-Cell Prison and Office expansion for the Correction Services of Canada (CSC) in Abbotsford, BC; a 100,000 sq.ft. expansion of the Vancouver SkyTrain Operations & Maintenance Center in Burnaby, BC; and facilities upgrades for BC Hydro (LEED Gold) of which the entire program totaled over $100 million.
Ed Rholl, Director
Mr. Rholl has more than 20 years of experience in business development, finance and joint venturing across more than a dozen industries. He has raised a significant amount of money for start-up stage companies, including writing business plans, financial plans and investor presentations resulting in successful funding of businesses. Mr. Rholl is a graduate of Marquette University Law School, where he was a multiple scholarship winner and an Editor of the Law Review. He also graduated from Georgetown University Law School (LL.M.) with an advanced legal degree in International Business. During this time he also interned at the U.S. Department of State, Agency for International Development, where he participated in developing programs to bring U.S. businesses to the former Soviet Bloc nations in Eastern Europe. Mr. Rholl practiced law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for eight years, focusing on business and finance. He moved to San Diego, California in 2000, assisting a start-up venture by creating a marketing relationship with the American Bar Association resulting in successful production and distribution of some of the first live Internet seminars for continuing education for attorneys. He has a strong philanthropic commitment and currently serves on the Boards of two global non-profits.
